The Role:
Building Control Surveyor for Enfield Council, providing a range of professional and technical skills under the Building Regulations, Building Act and associated legislation. You will provide professional advice and guidance to all users of the service and recommend innovative and practical options to complex Building Regulation queries. As Building Control Surveyor you will inspect domestic and commercial buildings for compliance.

The Candidate:
You will be a Building Control Surveyor with extensive experience of inspecting domestic and commercial buildings for compliance.
You must have full membership of RICS/CABE.
You will have knowledge and experience of inspecting dangerous structures, demolitions and contraventions.
Broad experience in every aspect of Building Control procedures and legislation.
Substantial post qualification experience in Building Control and deputising for principal where necessary.
You should have good communication and office skills – written/verbal/IT.
You will be a good team worker; self motivated, organised and works under pressure to meet targets.
You must have a full UK driving licence and daily use of a motor vehicle to carry out site visits.
