Building Surveyor - £300/day - Various Locations - 5 month contract

The Role:
Experienced Building Surveyor - Working across the Buildings and Asset Management Division and the wider EFA and DfE.
Provide timely and robust advice and support to senior colleagues on emerging issues as well as in the development of policy and advice to ministers.
Support wider divisional and departmental school condition and maintenance aims and priorities as required.

The Candidate:
You will be an experiencd qualified Building Surveyor with at leat 5-10 years experience.
Member of professional body ideally RICS and Degree qualified.
You will have experience of using a variety of building surveying data collection tools.
You will be developing and/or managing planned preventative maintenance schedules, lifecycle planning and preparing specifications of work.
You will have experience of developing and/or delivering building surveying and condition and maintenance related projects from inception through to completion using project management systems and techniques, e.g. PRINCE2.
Ideally you would have experience of working in the education sector.
