C & I Engineer – c6month plus contract, Warrington

Job Title: C & I Engineer – Water Sector
Rate: Rate Negotiable to c£45.0/hour   
Duration: c6mths plus
Location: Warrington

The Role:
Client is seeking an experienced C & I Engineer to join a team engaged on projects within the UK Water Sector. You will be part of a team engaged in the design of complex (£1m to £40m) schemes in the UK water sector. 
Duties will include: 
The preparation and support to tenders, including: both outline and detailed design solutions associated with the delivery of our UU CDP framework. 
The team operate as a co-located team and you can expect to be involved in the refurbishment of treatment works, pipework, layout development, pumping stations, outfalls etc. 
You will also be involved in both tender design and detailed design under a design and build environment. 
Additionally 
• Instrumentation selection and design 
• Network design
• SCADA system design 
• I&C and SCADA control panel design, fabrication, and testing 
• Make recommendations for control systems’ design, upgrade, and improvement
• Maintain a mindset of health & safety in all aspects of project execution
• Liaise with internal and external clients to develop relationships across the business and cooperation with engineers and designers across other disciplines.

The Candidate: 
You will be educated to HND/Degree level in an Engineering Subject and ideally be a Chartered Engineer. 

You will have experience of the following: 
•    You will be Experienced in the design and programming of major brands of DCS/PLC and SCADA products for municipal or industrial type facilities 
•    Experienced in facility automation design and integration 
•    Instrumentation selection and design
•    Network design
•    SCADA system design experience
•    Experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC programming 
•    Field start-up experience 
•    I&C and SCADA control panel design, fabrication, and testing experience 
•    Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel
