CAD Design Engineer - Didcot - £23-£32/hr - Contract 6 months

The Role:
Our Client, STFC at Didcot, are looking for a CAD Design Engineer to work on a 6 to 8 month contract.

The position and duties involved are as follows/may include:
Produce up to date process and pipe work drawings from archive records
Survey existing equipment and pipe work and produce 2D and 3D drawings
The use of an Solid Edge CAD System for the above

Essential:
Good general engineering background
Computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office products and keep computer records.
Able to work from verbal and written instruction.
Proven track record backed up by suitable references.
Solid Edge CAD trained, with good process knowledge.

Desirable:
Experience in a science or nuclear environment would be beneficial.
AutoCAD MEP or Plant 3D suite knowledge an advantage.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced CAD Designer / Engineer with Solid Edge expertise.
You should be qualified ideally to HNC level or have considerable relevant experience.
You should have good communication skills.
Be methodical in problem solving.
