Chartered Surveyor - WFH / Birmingham - Duration 4 months - Rate c£450/day Umbrella.

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment are looking to recruit a Chartered Surveyor to work initially on a 4 month contract WFH.
As a Chartered Surveyor your duties and responsibilities will include:

Working in the Access and Acquisition team – acquiring temporary and permanent land in support of maintenance and enhancement projects on the railway.

Projects are already in motion. They will look at the pictures that have been provided an d maybe meet site owners and their agents

As an example there are a caseload of about 50 projects and they will be allocated to the SS depending on what comes through and how busy they are.
In some instances, they may need to get suppliers involved.
- It is likely they will be given more complex cases to deal with. An example of 1
One project that involves land at 5 different sites and might have them dealing with 5 site owners or Schemes that they support are higher in value

1) RICS Qualified in a general practice environment
2) Land Acquisitions experience
3) Negotiation and Stakeholder skill

Essential Educated to degree level or equivalent MRICS qualified
Wide range of General Practice surveying experience
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Proven negotiation skills at senior level
Proven experience of managing complex property transactions
Experience of stakeholder management
Strong presentation skills
Desirable
Understanding of compulsory purchase issues
Understanding of the rail industry and rail legislation
Full Driving Licence
May need to go on site visits 4/5 times a year. PPE will be provided.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Chartered Surveyor.
Rail / Network Rail exp advantageous.
5-10 years experience.
