Chemical Process Engineer - Exciting long term contract in Nuclear industry based at Dounreay

The Role:
Our client requires a Chemical Process Engineer for nuclear projects at Dounreay in Thurso, Scotland (Highlands), to manage and deliver project activities. As Chemical Process Engineer, you will control, develop and monitor plans and procedures, developing appropriate solutions for operational problems. You will identify resource requirements to prepare for/carry out activities, monitor implementation of plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project schedules, safety procedures and legislation. You will undertake the professional management and execution of contract and project works including observation of work to identify industry standards are applied. As Chemical Process Engineer you will write technical specifications. 

DSRL is the site licence company responsible for the clean-up and demolition of Britain’s former centre of fast reactor research and development. They aim to provide successful decommissioning of a complex nuclear site, based in Thurso, Scotland.

The Candidate:
You must be a Chemical Process Engineer with a minimum of 5 years engineering experience.
You will have a degree in Engineering or equivalent. 
You will have experience working within a Design Team. 
You should have Nuclear industry experience.
