Civil CAD Technician: 6 months contract, Birmingham, Rate: £25-32 p/h
KEY Skills: Civil Engineering, AutoCAD, BTEC Civil Engineering, Highways, Highways England

The Role:
The Civil CAD Technician will be working on 2D and 3D drawings within a smart motorways scheme for Highways England.

The Candidate:
You will have:
BTEC Civil Engineering or equivalent
City & Guilds – AutoCAD or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the construction industry for a Highways England or smart motorways scheme
Minimum of 3 years’ 2D CAD experience (e.g. AutoCAD 2D)
Ideally have 3D CAD experience (e.g. AutoCAD 3D, Civils 3D), or a willingness to develop.

In addition, you will also demonstrate the following;
Highly motivated
Organised and methodical with particular attention to detail
The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
