Flood and Coastal Risk Management Engineer; c9mth contract, rate c£36.0/hour, Lichfield

The Role:
Experienced Flood and Coastal Risk Management Engineer required to lead a project investigating options and a long-term strategy for the River Rea fluvial assets in the Birmingham area.

Duties will include:
Working with key internal and external partners such as Birmingham City Council.
The role may also involve managing discreet packages of flood risk maintenance work via external contractors.
The role does require travel to sites in the West Midlands area on approx. 2 days per week.

The Candidate:
You will be a qualified Engineer and will be either ICE or CIWEM.
You will have experience in developing options and managing water / river engineering type construction works.
Project management experience using NEC3 suite of contracts is desirable as is hydraulic modelling.
