Civil Infrastructure Engineer

Civil Infrastructure Engineer - 6 Months Contract - Warrington - £300-500/day

The Role: 
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to work in the delivery of new Road and Rail schemes for a major nuclear power project in Cumbria. Working in a multi-discipline team you will work on the option generation and down-selection process, prior to moving into design development 
Work within the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Contractor, to create defendable strategies and options to underpin the Development Consent Order DCO & Environmental Impact Assessment EIA submissions
You will challenge the engineering integrity, appropriateness and cost efficiency of proposals and strategies, by taking part in option study meetings and by reporting to line management.

The Candidate: 
***Must be able to achieve SC Clearance***
Qualifications: Chartered Engineer status and Degree qualified
Experience of working within a highly regulated industry and also the following:-
Developing and working to engineering processes, including the various stages of design (requirements management, optioneering and concept design selection) 
Highways England Scheme Assessment Reports (SAR) process specifically the early stages 
Network Rail Guide to Rail Investment Process (GRIP) process specifically GRIP 2-4 
Design of new road schemes and highways upgrade schemes 
Design of new rail schemes and existing infrastructure upgrades
