Civil Structural Engineer

Civil Structural Engineers; 6 month + contract; to undertake asset and condition assessments in the field.
KEY SKILLS; Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Flood Assessment, Report Preparation 


Client is seeking both Engineers and Senior Engineers to work at the above locations. 

The Role: 
Civil Structural Engineers required to undertake asset and condition assessments in the field. Role will involve inspection work and reporting for the National Cableway Project part of the Environment Agency's planned investment of more than £2.5 billion over the next ten years to reduce the risk from river and coastal flooding. 

The Candidate: 
You will be a degree qualified Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer and ideally Chartered or working towards obtaining Chartered status with a relevant Institution (ICE or CIWEM).
You will have previous experience of working on river engineering or flood risk management projects. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential as is the ability to undertake field work, working next to water courses is also required. 
Some past experience of working with the EA undertaking asset inspections would be favourable but not essential.
Ability to use CAD is desirable.
