Overview:

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are looking to recruit a Civil Structural Design Engineer to work on a LONG term 12 month contract on behalf of a local consultancy and Network Rail.

As a Civil Structural Design Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:

Civil Structural Engineer to produce and oversee scheme designs, reports and documentation in accordance with specified briefs and in line with the time and budgetary allocations. 

Assist in the overall delivery of the workload of the Structures team.  Reporting to Team Manager, the Engineer will work alongside a CAD technician to design and manage a variety of civil / structural engineering schemes; values varying from £0.1-1.0M. Reinforced concrete design, drainage, and earthworks, as well as carry out risk assessments, communicate/manage contractors etc.

 

Requirements are:

• Civil Structural Engineering graduate with 5+ years of experience.

• Ability to work independently and supervise CAD Technician

• Rail industry experience (preferred, not essential)

 

 

7 hours per day 

6-12 month contract position

Outside IR35

WFH/Heaton Mersey (2-3 days per week)
