The Role:
Our client requires Civil Structural Engineers at all levels to join the York office to provide technical support to Rail projects. The role will be client facing and will involve undertaking/overseeing the preparation and checking of drawings, technical specifications and reports. You will be required to maintain the necessary level of knowledge of codes and standards. As Principal Civil Structural Engineer, you will lead by example to manage projects and take a lead role in the preparation of appropriate project related documentation.

The Candidate:
You will be a Civil Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years post chartered work experience.
You must have a Civil or Structural Engineering MEng/MSc degree.
You will have achieved Chartered Professional Membership with the ICE or IStructE.
You should have experience of leading successful project delivery.
You will have the ability to lead teams of engineering and experience working within a multi-disciplinary project delivery team environment (Principal level).
You should have familiarity with British Standards & Eurocodes.
You should have good motivation, people management and delegation skills.
