The Role:
Our client requires a NEC/ECC Civil Supervisor working client side for the Environment Agency on the Ipswich Barrier Project, involving flood gate, flood wall, control room and heavy civils for the barrier. You will be required to undertake the inspection and testing of construction works, reviewing contractors risk assessments and method statements and checking compliance of the construction works with the Works Information. You will provide a weekly report on the progress of construction works and liaise with the contractor over health and safety construction issues. 

The Candidate:
You be a degree qualified engineer with experience of working in the role of NEC/ECC Supervisor with a minimum of 10 years experience on major projects..
You should have a good understanding of NEC/ECC contracts.
You will have experience supervising contracts for the EA.
You must have experience of heavy civils in a tidal environment.
You should have supervisor training and CSCS.
You will have an understanding of gate & MEICA, building and landscape works.
You must have good communications skills, be assertive and work well in a team environment.
