Civil Technician: South Manchester, 6 Months+ Contract, Rate £Negotiable 
KEY Skills: Civil & Highway Structures, Concrete, Steel, AutoCAD

The Role:
We have a requirement for a Civil/Structural Technician to work for our client on varied and challenging highway structures for both public and private clients.

Duties will include: 
·Preparation of drawings and other technical documentation from concept through to construction.
·Preparation of detailed reinforced concrete and steelwork drawings.
·Liaise and co-ordinate with team members, contractors and clients during the design process .
·Ensure all work is compliant with the relevant client specifications and health and safety standards.
·Provide assistance and support to junior members of staff.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Civil/Structural CAD Technician ideally qualified to HNC/ HND level, with experience of working in a civil consultancy environment.
You will have good experience of AutoCAD c5 years+; particularly, with civil/highway structures experience. Highways bridges experience highly desirable
Experience of Microstation is beneficial but not essential.
Ability to work as part of a team.
