Commercial Manager - WFH / London - Duration 6 months - Rate c£400/day Umbrella.

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Network Rail in order to recruit a Commercial Manager to work on a 6 month contract, WFH / London.
As a Commercial Manager your duties/responsibilities will include:
Assessing the existing commercial landscape and looking at the impact on programme delivery. Designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome for the department. Leading on supplier integration with regards to relationship and cost impact upon the department. Clarifying the ability to terminate current contracts, working with programme finance leads to understand impact and realisation of any potential benefits. The ability to renegotiate existing contracts. Managing the impact of existing commercial financial models. Acting as primary point of contact between the incumbent supplier(s) and the department.
5 years’ experience in commercially managing railway investment projects
Demonstrable relevant experience
Good understanding of railway and construction industry forms of contract
Good understanding of the construction/railway industry
Good negotiation skills
Educated to degree standard in related subject
Membership of a relevant professional institute, chartered status
Significant experience of working within a generalist commercial environment
Awareness of industry issues
Educated to a degree level or equivalent
A member of the RICS or ICES (Optional)
