The Role:
Commercial Manager (Procurement) required to join the MOD DIO team to join a high performing team at a critical stage of a programme.

The programme: Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) is a Hard Facilities Management (FM) Programme currently being undertaken by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
The FDIS Programme has 3 strands: Built Estate, Accommodation and Training Estate.
Built Estate is currently the main focus and replaces an existing contract providing Hard FM for the whole of the UK split into 4 regions. 
BE will utilize a new and specialized CCS Framework and will call off 4 contracts to cover the existing regions.
FDIS is the biggest FM programme in Europe and potentially one of the largest FM contracts globally.

Duties: 
To provide leadership and management, delivery of a wide and varied portfolio of contracts, commercial, scrutiny and assurance, stakeholder engagement, business improvement, management of resources. You will be responsible for a workstream (pricing, evaluation etc) and be able to take a work package and deliver.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Commercial Manager with ideally previous MOD/DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) and hard FM experience. 
In addition, you will have recent tendering experience, demonstrable hands-on commercial experience rather than strategic experience. 
MS Office/ 360 experience
CIPs Level 6 is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of EU procurement process
CCS frameworks experience
