Commercial Manager - London - Rate c£450/day Umbrella - Duration 4 months+

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working to recruit a Commercial Manager to work on a 4month contract for the MOJ / HMCTS in London.
As a Commercial Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
The role is to manage a portfolio of technology services contracts and to support the define stage of new projects, developing and delivering the procurement strategies. It provides an opportunity to establish excellent supplier management processes and relationships to better drive value for money from our existing contracts, whilst also leading on the procurement of new and critical requirements across the Change Tech portfolio. This role will suit someone who is driven, is a strong team player and who is enthusiastic about driving commercial value.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the define, buy and manage activities for high-profile projects within the Reform Programme including capturing and documenting detailed business requirements.
• Adherence to MoJ, HMCTS and wider government procurement and contract management processes and policies,
• Identify and undertake engagement with business and finance stakeholders and manage communications with those stakeholders.
• Ensure all project commitments are tied to firm commercial agreements and full handover of contract management plans to operational contract managers.
• Take ownership in ensuring projects are correctly scoped with clearly defined outcomes and sponsorship.
• Day to day management and delivery of the procurements.
• Support the commercial lead in determining appropriate sourcing options and recommendations based on market intelligence.
• Identify and monitor risks and issues by developing mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
• Plan for and organise with contract and supplier reviews and support action on recommendations.
• Plan for and organise supplier engagement events where appropriate.

Key Requirements
• Experience of delivering successful commercial & commissioning outcomes particularly within Technology.
• Experience of working within Government and awareness of procurement routes.
• Strong business acumen and ability to show evidence-based decision making.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• A working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation.

You will be an experienced Commercial Manager
Experience in MOD / MOJ  / Public Sector experience.
