Commercial Officer - MOD/DSTL - Fareham - Duration 6 months - Rate c£320/day umbrella

Overview: Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working to recruit a Commercial Officer to work on a 6 month contract at Fareham for the MOD. Due to the nature of this role, you must be a British national and have current Security Clearance at SC level.
As a Commercial Officer your duties and responsibilities may include:
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
Working within a commercial team to deliver programme objectives; 
Supporting colleagues to achieve targets in relevant timescales; 
Developing successful working relationships with external suppliers. 
Contributing to procurement and contract strategies; 
Compiling and issuing tenders; 
Administering contract amendments; 
Providing commercial advice and guidance to the wider business; 
Ensuring all procurement activities are within budget; 
Ensuring all activity undertaken is in line with government regulations and best practice.

You will be a British National and have current SC Clearance.
You will have worked on MOD projects previously.
You will need excellent communication skills both written and oral.
You should have good people skills.
