Commercial Officer - Salisbury - Duration 8 months - Rate c£430/day Umbrella.

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side the MOD DSTL in order to recruit a Commercial Officer to work on an 8 month contract at Salisbury.
As a Commercial Officer your responsibilities and duties may include: 
Advising project staff on acquisition strategies for procurements.
Managing competitive or single source procurements and sourcing activities, including development of invitations to tender or negotiate and complex contracts requiring non-standard pricing conditions or bespoke terms and conditions.
Providing contract management or supporting contract management activity.
Supporting administrative activities as required. I.e.. PO amendments, closures.
Skills required: The skills and experiences that the contractor should have in order to complete the duties and responsibilities to a high standard.
The ability to think ahead and plan own workload.
Developed communications skills and ability to work in collaboration with colleagues, project staff and engage suppliers as part of contract negotiations.
The ability to develop and select cost effective options.
The ability to seek and implement opportunities for improved service delivery and efficiencies.
Knowledge of public procurement regs.
Experience of tendering and placing contracts considering the Public Procurement Regulations.
Experience of managing contracts.
Experience of using gov frameworks.

You will be an experienced Commercial Officer.
MUST have current Security Clearance - SC.
Qualified to HND / Degree.
