Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side FCDO in order to recruit a Commercial Officer to work on a 6 month contract.
as a Commercial Officer / Sourcing Consultant your duties and responsibilities will include:
The E-Sourcing Advisor will support the ESND Cateogry Team in the management and processing of procurements for goods, services and works through the FCDO e-sourcing platform.  A key element of the role is resolving queries from suppliers and business divisions and making sure all queries and issues are dealt with in a professional and positive way. 

The role holder will deal with internal customer queries, providing advice to ensure the appropriate procurement method is applied, resulting in best value for money. The role will support ESND Category Team in process and working practice improvements in the e-sourcing function with a focus on compliance with procurement regulations and FCDO commercial policy and procedures. 

The role holder will demonstrate a high level of technical competence across the e-sourcing  function and procurement lifecycle and be proactively seeking opportunities to further develop skills in this area. 

The role holder must have intermediate IT Skills (good skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and experienced in use of e-sourcing systems preferably Jaggaer (formerly BravoSolution). The role holder must be enthusiastic, energetic with a proactive approach to work, always seeking ways to improve current procedures and processes (i.e. systems & efficiencies). This role reports directly to the Head of E-Sourcing.

In this role you will also be responsible for:
E-system Management: Administering and processing tenders onto the e-sourcing system (publishing PIN / Contract Notices, administering tender documents, assisting with tender evaluations, moderations and award) ensuring complete and accurate data is recorded that ensures compliance with procurement regulations.
Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Act as the main point of contact for internal and external customers for general advice and query resolution.
Produce accurate ad-hoc reports to contribute to the production of ESND category reporting, returns and documents.
Management of communication channels (i.e. Intranet pages / MS Teams etc) internal and external for FCDO ESN Commercial Category.

Candidates who secure a role that is considered specialist/technical, may be required to affiliate to the relevant specialist network, if not already a member.
