12 -month contract for a Construction Project Manager delivering Estate projects to enable the consolidation of the MOD College Training Facilities – Based in Worthy Down, Winchester. Rate: £390 Per day.

The Role: 
Acting as interface with all the following:
Project Sponsor on diversion of IT/Telecoms links, vacating and isolating existing buildings for handing to main contractor for redevelopment.
College occupants to de-conflict construction operations and ensure that college training continues uninterrupted
MOD’s FM contractors and DIO Service Delivery team regarding both construction and future operating and maintenance
Main contractors for the project, on the construction of new facilities, including quality and progress monitoring
Co-ordination of interested parties in the handovers of new buildings, and subsequent fitting out by ARTD and its contractors (IT/Telecoms, furniture, etc.), ahead of the occupants and their equipment moving in

The Candidate: 
Construction qualification to L5 (HNC/HND or higher, or a Chartered Construction Professional (CEng, RIBA, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) AND/OR 5 years relevant Construction Project Management experience.
Experience in the management of Industry Suppliers to deliver construction projects from inception to handover within time, cost and quality parameters. 
Regular and accurate reporting of progress and financial position.
