Construction / Installations Manager - Nuclear Industry Client - 6 months+ Contract - Derby - to £550/day
KEY SKILLS; M&E, Plant installation and Commissioning, Construction, SC Cleared


The Role:
The Construction / Installations Manager is accountable to the CPC New Build Manager and is responsible for the following: 
Ensures all plant and equipment associated with the CPC Regeneration Project is delivered and installed within the Facility.  
They are to ensure all work is carried out safely, to quality, cost and time and that the appropriate legislative requirements. 
They will be responsible for the interfacing of the Process Plant and Equipment with the building infrastructure. 
They will be responsible for managing the interface with the principle contractor ensuring all aspects of the CMD regulations are maintained. 
They will be responsible for the planning and controlling of work.
Development and maintenance of construction logic, programmes and reporting of progress 
The compilation of the Health and Safety File in accordance with the CDM Regulations 

The Candidate:
Must hold current SC Clearance
Good understanding of electrical design / installation / testing / commissioning experience
Experienced in the construction and installation of a wide verity of equipment, processes and safety systems
Has more than 5 years experience of managing construction activities on a nuclear licensed site
Familiar with site licence conditions
Familiar with design guides and commissioning requirements
Legislation, standards and codes of practice
Safety systems, practices and safety administration
Work in commercial and industrial environments
