The Role: 
Cost Control and Management Consultant reporting to the Project Controls Lead and to the Project Controls Functional Lead to provide providing guidance and advice on variety of projects.
Duties:
Ensure consistency between cost control, scheduling, and earned value control. 
Collect actual quantities and milestone progress. 
Analyse quantities and labour hour trends performance, and identify trends.
Forecast quantities and labour hours. 
Forecast progress and performance charts.
Prepare progress reports.
Prepare progress report narrative.
Recommend corrective actions. 
Obtain progress reports approval. 
Issue progress reports with narrative Qualifications and experience

The Candidate:
Relevant experience in cost control 
Experience of providing cost control support in complex programmes 
Demonstrable ability to use processes and procedures required to deliver the role 
Experience of working with multi-functional teams 
Successful interaction with business clients and developing relationships with them
Familiarity with cost control software tools
Experience of working in large teams; used to handling simultaneous requests for support. 
You will have a min of 5 -10 years of experience across a across a range of business sectors and small to multi-billion £ projects and be a Member of the appropriate institution
