Cost Manager – Infrastructure / Estates: 4 Months+ Contract; Andover; Rate: £460/day (Umbrella)

The Role:
The MoD’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) requires two Cost Managers to assist in the delivery of their Commercial Infrastructure Delivery Plan (CIDP) which represents major works and upgrades to the infrastructure and facilities of key military sites within the South-West. This project is valued at £95m and requires delivery before the end of FY2018-2019.

Duties will involve:
The successful Cost Managers will;
Lead the Regional Cost Management Team.
Manage Quantity Surveyor (QS) activities.
Manage the MOD cost process, including validating IP MPTC and other quotes/estimates.
Manage final accounting process.
Provide procurement advice.
Support the resolution of commercial disputes.

The Candidate: 
You will be a qualified and/or chartered Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 year’s recent experience of professional Cost Management services within a demanding construction and/or facilities/estates management context.
MUST have valid Security Check (SC) clearance.
