Defence Project Planner: Contract, Bristol: Abbey Wood, Duration: at least 6-months, Rate: £Negotiable

The Role:
To provide project planning and scheduling services to the Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), under the Chief of Materiel Joint Enablers.

Duties will involve:
As a Defence Project Planner, you will be responsible for supervision of schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities.
Further, you will be answerable for planning and scheduling activities for large projects/major projects with significant non-routine requirements; discipline/project/proposal estimating or staff planning activities that require a high degree of technical skill and experience.

The Candidate:
You will have demonstrable skill in identifying, analysing, and providing innovative solutions to planning and scheduling problems and be sufficiently knowledgeable to be able to represent the planning team at internal meetings or workshops.
Must have strong knowledge and experience of Primavera P6 and knowledge of Earned Value Management.
