Design Manager: Andover, Contract, £680 per day (Umbrella), 2-3 months initially
KEY Skills: SC Cleared, Design Management, Information, Building Design, Civil Structural Architectural

The Role:
As a Design Manager (CSA) you will be involved in developing and managing the technical study and design work for both internal and external building design for various projects.
Responsible for the resolution of section agreements including applications.
You will ensure that the design information is compliant with the contract, is of the right quality, is keeping to project time-scales and budget targets.
Assist in the appointment of sub-contractors, liaise with statutory authorities and other relevant third parties.
Participate in the collation and handover of completed design records, e.g. CDM Files, O&M Manuals, etc. for project completion. This includes the relevant certification.

The Candidate:
Professional/external qualifications desired:  Degree in Design Management, Construction Management, Architecture or similar
Ability to lead design aspects of projects including managing quality, budget, programme and resources.
Broad experience in design management.
Good all-round technical expertise.
Good verbal and written communication, and report writing skills
Proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with clients and other design team members
