Document Controller - Whitehaven - Duration 12 months - Rate c£15-£25/hr Umbrella.
Key words / skills: Document Control, Technical Clerk, Nuclear, BPSS, Technical Administrator.

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side NDA in order to recruit a Document Controller to work on a 12 month contract at Whitehaven.
As a Document Controller your duties and responsibilities will include:
Technical Administrator
Control and maintenance of database and shared drive folders for all commissioning documentation.
Document Control – includes obtaining icepac numbers, maintenance of information within Document Tracker, reporting on document status and liaising with Commissioning Engineers. Quality checks on completed documents before being sent to document controllers for archive in icepac (doc control) and Huddle (database).
Diary Management for Commissioning Manager, setting up meetings and taking of minutes for commissioning meetings (currently weekly Teams meetings).
Liaise with Training Department regarding team training requests and records - requesting courses, filing certificates and completion receipts.
PPE requests (for existing members).
Organising borer access – i.e. security clearance / turnstiles / access control.
Organising film badges and dosimetry paperwork for new starters and existing team members.
Help with workload management by collating downtime figures for the team.
Budget management for Commissioning for current spend and next year’s budget prep. i.e. PPE / training / equipment.
Liaise with IT department to request IT hardware & software, shared drive access, cimage, contacting IT Security Controller where applicable.
Support self-assessment audits – organizing access to Atlas (events reporting system), ensuring people have the correct paperwork to complete assessments.
Ordering tools and test equipment.
Set up, record and maintain all Commissioning documentation on the database and store paperwork electronically in the shared drive.
Quality and conformity checking of Commissioning documentation before it goes to archive or out for distribution.
Graded Approach, TCA (temp commissioning aids) and FOB (fault observation) for Internal audits.

1) Project Experience / Commissioning Experience / Technical Ability & Understanding
2) Excel / Word / Having worked in an Engineering environment
3) Good Admin Skills / Knowledge of Databases.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Document Controller.
Nuclear exp advantageous.
