Excellent 12-month Contract opportunity for a Drainage Engineer; based in Canary Wharf London; £Negotiable Day Rate

The Role:
To act as the Drainage technical expert providing a comprehensive drainage service to LU covering all aspects of gravity and pumped drainage systems to track, stations, depots and operational buildings, Answering drainage queries at all levels within the organisation and providing answers to external parties as necessary. 
Approval of Conceptual Design Statements, Project Assurance Plans, Risk Assessments, Handover Documentation, commenting on scheme proposals through Design Reviews. 
Provide a comprehensive drainage service to LU covering all aspects of gravity and pumped drainage systems to track, stations, depots and other operational buildings.
Undertake site inspections in accordance with the department’s Verification Activity Plan to ensure that works by Maintenance functions and Project teams are undertaken
Produce in-house drainage designs.
Review and approval of drainage engineering technical documentation associated with the Four Lines Modernisation (4LM) contract.

The Candidate:
You will have previous experience of Drainage Engineering design 
Assessment and design of gravity and pumped drainage systems
Experience in highway or rail drainage projects
Previous experience with LUL or TfL is beneficial
