Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working alongside BBBEP in order to recruit an EC&I Designer to work on a 12month contract at Warrington or Stockton on Tees.
As an EC&I Designer job role, duties and responsibilities will include:
Project Description The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield’s 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original wasteplants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building. The plant is primarily designed to deal with waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd’s owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). Alongside that work, the plant will also receive certain wastes from the other three legacy waste stores, the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, the Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo. 
 
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
Job Description / Role CE&I Designer for Areas 100 & 500. 
Responsible for production of engineering drawings and designs that meet the specifications required and conform to project and client standards.
Checks the work of other designers in the team.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Must have a background and experience in design engineering in relation to hardware projects and a minimum qualification of HNC.
Must be highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD for drawing production.
Have a working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the CE&I discipline.
Be familiar with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
Developing knowledge of products and services available in the market place to support design concepts
Nuclear experience strongly preferred working on Sellafield Ltd projects. 
Working within a JV environment on large multi-discipline projects preferred.
The ability to obtain BPSS clearance is essential for continuance in the role.
Design Tools /Software AutoCAD
AVEVA Electrical package.
AVEVA Instrumentation package.
 
 
Candidate:
You will be an experienced EC&I Designer.
Nuclear experience essential.
