Client: MOD - SECURITY CLEARANCE IS ESSENTIAL.

The Role:
Our client requires an EC&I Engineer with a robust technical background to deliver engineering projects within highly regulated sectors. You will deliver electrical / instrumentation / control system engineering services of complex process plants; ensuring designs adequately meet regulatory and production product requirements. As EC&I Engineer, you will technically review supply chain design documentation and deliverables, feeding back comments and corrective actions. You will ensure that vendor submitted designs comply with applicable legislative requirements, design standards and codes of practice. You must ensure designs effectively meet requirements of Safety Function Requirements (SFR). You will produce technical and process specifications with respect to process or equipment requirements.

The Candidate:
You must be an EC&I Engineer with 10 years+ engineering manufacturing or process experience.
You MUST have current Security Clearance.
Nuclear sector experience is essential.
You will have knowledge of Nuclear and Conventional safety requirements.
You should have experience designing, manufacturing and implementation of high hazard process plant equipment.
You should be experienced in using/implementing stage gate design process at all phases.
You will have an Electrical Engineering / Control / Instrumentation degree qualification with chartered status (ideally).
