EC&I Engineer - Manchester - Contract - Rate £35-£37/hr neg

Wilde Recruitment are delighted to work with a well established company based in Manchester, we require an experienced EC&I Engineer to work on various UK projects, working in the Chemical, Petrochemicals and Pharmaceuticals sectors. This is a contract position initially for 3months+
You will have previously worked “on site” with the ability to interface with client to carry out site surveys and studies.
Specifying, designing and commissioning Functional Safety systems.
You must also have a good working knowledge of instrumentation, control systems and LV electrical design.
Prepare detailed design packages including Instrument and actuated valve specifications, BCD’s, Schedules, Loop diagrams.
Experience of the design, application and installation of mainstream and specialised Instrumentation equipment and LV electrical systems is required.
Experience of PLC control systems would also be beneficial.
Some experience of BS EN 61511 in the above sectors would be useful.
You will be an experienced EC&I Engineer.
You will be qualified to at least HNC / HND level.
You will have experience of AutoCAD
The role may involve some travel to visit client sites, so an ability to drive is ESSENTIAL.
