Control Interface Engineer - Warrington - Contract 6 months - Rate £35-£45/hr neg

The Company / Project / Duties:
Our client BBUK Major Projects are looking to recruit an Control Interface Engineer to work initially for 6 months on contract based initially in Warrington.
The BEP EPC project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants,
The work will be carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the BEP project.
 
Duties will include: 
Provide cross area interface management for the integrated control system liaising with each area EC&I Lead to ensure that all interfaces between systems are validated and consistent.
Liaise with the Lead Control Systems engineer to ensure that interfaces conform to agreed standards and protocols for the project.  
Be the engineering point of contact for the control system network including configuration and hardware.
Attend control system integration testing at the vendor’s works.
 
Candidate:
You will be an experienced Control Interface Engineer.
Ideally you will have numerous years working within the NUCLEAR industry sector.
You will have experience of: 
Integration of PLCs and SCADA.
Industrial network experience including specification and integration of network components
