Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side BBBEP in order to recruit an EC&I Site Engineer to work on a 12month contract at Seascale.
As an EC&I Site Engineer job / duties / responsibilities will include:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield’s 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original wasteplants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building. The plant is primarily designed to deal with waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd’s owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). Alongside that work, the plant will also receive certain wastes from the other three legacy waste stores, the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, the Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo. 

The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
Instrument Engineer reporting to EC&I Manager.
To support line management in delivery of instrumentation and associated equipment within the BEP Project.
Deliver and verify instrument installation, including process pipework and compressed air distribution to end user equipment.
Verify instrument calibration ranges and install in correct locations to manufacturers requirements. 
Generation of any, and all QA documentation as required by the QA function in both the JV and client Quality procedures.
Contribute to change control by providing strong technical support to any estimating of additional works when requested.
Identifying innovative and cost effective strategies and solutions. 
Ensure design risks highlighted by the JV design teams are considered and agreed solutions implemented.
Support the design function with any assurance requirements on the project.
Support the purchasing function with any requisition issues on the project.
Support the commissioning function with any issues that arise through the inspection and testing phase of the associated works.
Identifying best practice, areas for improvement and areas of concern.
Assist and implement any other requirements or duties as requested by line management.
HNC, or equivalent, in Instrumentation measurement and control.
Previous experience of managing similar works in a nuclear environment.
Previous experience of managing the installation of environmental monitoring equipment.
The ability to obtain BPSS is essential for this role. 
Microsoft access, Bluebeam revue, Microsoft Excel, Navis Works
