EC&I Technician - Burghfield/Reading - Contract 12months - Rate £25/hr

POSITION ON HOLD - This Position is on hold due to COVID 19 – restrictions as the client is unable to provide information on start dates.

We are however; still, accepting applications from candidates, who wish to be considered for the role, once these restrictions are lifted and start dates are known.

Overview / Responsibilities:

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working alongside Cavendish & AWE in order to recruit a number of EC&I Technicians, These are contract positions initially to run for 12months. Positions are based at Burghfield/Reading.
As an EC&I Technician your responsibilities will include:
Install and maintain Low Voltage Plant/Equipment.
Interpret and implement the current requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations and IEE Regulations (BS7671).
Work in compliance with the requirements of the CSG Health and Safety Procedures (CSG-PRD-HSE-0).
Undertake isolation of electrical systems/equipment in line with CSG-PRD-HSE-4 and in particular Live Working Restrictions.
Attend weekly Toolbox Talks relating to matters of safety and Company policy.
Participate in the production and review of Point of Work Risk Assessments.
Participate in the Pre and Post Job Briefs and Post Job De-Briefs

You will be an experience EC&I Technician.
Ideally have Nuclear experience.
Qualified to ONC HNC HND level.
