Electrical & Controls Engineer; 3-6 Months Contract; Leicester; c£40.0/hr

The Role:
Our client Babcock DST in Leicester require an Electrical & Controls Engineer to work on site initially for a period of 3-6months on a contract basis.
Your duties may include:
Detailed design and specification of PLC based Electrical and Control Systems. 
Production of schematic diagrams and control panel layouts. 
Production of specifications and engineering documents. 
Generations of specifications at all levels. 
Interfacing of control systems. 
Liaison at all levels with customers and suppliers. 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical & Controls Engineer with ideally 5-10 years exp within the 
Marine / Ships / Defence sector.
You will be qualified to at least HNC level or HND or Degree.
You will have a good working knowledge and understanding of PLC and safety system architecture and software for plant control. 
Understandings of PLC applications for plant control. 
You will have experience and an understanding of electrical engineering for medium and low voltage power distribution systems, motor starter panels and PLC Systems. 
You will have good communications skills - written & oral.
