Electrical Area Lead Engineer: 6-12months plus Contract; £600 per day. Birchwood

The Role:
The role of a Electrical Area Lead Engineer is to ensure the delivery of discipline specific engineering designs for all BEP (Box Encapsulation Plant) plant areas are compliant with the relevant legal requirements EU and Non-EU
 
Duties will include:
Lead and motivate their plant area EC&I team in line with the project mission and delivery objectives.
Management and co-ordination of planned engineering design activities for their plant area.
Ensure that the designs for their plant area satisfy the specified functional requirements.
Identify, define and manage design interfaces with the other plant Area Lead Engineers to ensure fully co-ordinated, ‘clash-free’ designs.
Delivering engineering designs for designated plant area, in accordance with quality requirements defined in the relevant Design Quality and Verification Plan.

The Candidate:
An experienced Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer with an EC&I background 
Nuclear experience, preferably at Sellafield.
Professional engineer, ideally chartered status.
Working within a Joint Venture environment (Stakeholder liaising)
