Electrical Building Services Design Engineer - Bradford - £40-£45,000 + Bens - Permanent/Staff

The Client / Role
Our client is a M & E Building Services Consultancy based in West Yorkshire.
They boast award winning design, experts within the fields of education and medical projects.
Due to an increase in winning bids & proposals they are now in a position to recruit an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer ideally on a permanent basis.

Your duties may include:
Taking an active role in pushing forward the skills and abilities of the electrical team members, including supervising and training junior engineers.
Lead building projects of various sizes, taking an active role in project leadership and client facing activity.
Take an active role in building services design elements for both small and major projects working closely with other team members.
Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs.
Offer consultancy advice and prepare design reports, specifications and drawings in a timely fashion and within budget.
Support Graduate Engineers with technical expertise and mentor junior team members.
Share and expand knowledge through participation at relevant skills networks.

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to at least HND level.
You should have at least 5-7 years consultancy experience as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer.
You will have experience of: High / low voltage power design, fire alarm, security, PA, etc.
Lighting / emergency lighting design
You should have Software skills, including Amtec, Dialux, Strike Risk, etc.
You will have excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
