Electrical CAD Engineer - £29/hr - Contract 3 months ongoing - Rutherford

The Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical CAD Design Engineer to work on a contract basis in Rutherford initially for 3 months with extensions.

The Project /duties involved are as follows:
Be responsible for the design and procurement of electrical systems. Initial specification development which involves bringing together information obtained from various different sources and disciplines.
Conceptual and detailed design phases, tender and procurement.
Involved in the full process, from preliminary scoping through to installation and commissioning.
Electrical designs from concept and design through manufacture and operation.
Production of documentation and drawings, presentation of designs for peer review.
Read and understand electrical drawings
Knowledge of appropriate CAD package – preferably AutoCAD Electrical
Update existing drawings
Draw from scratch using standard template
Examine existing equipment and produce as-built drawings
Lay out a drawing neatly, with relevant information easily accessible

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical Designer/Engineer.
You should be qualified to at least HNC level.
You will have good communication skills - written & oral.
