Overview / Duties:
Wilde Recruitment are delighted to be working with Babcock Naval Marine in order to recruit a number of Electrical Commissioning Engineers to work on a contract basis in Plymouth for an initial period of 6 months +.
The Major Infrastructure Directorate at Devonport Royal Dockyard are currently seeking a number of enthusiastic, committed Commissioning Engineers in support of the UK Naval Nuclear Propulsion defueling programme.
The primary purpose of these roles is to undertake and oversee the commissioning of a newly supplied and modified nuclear facilities, plant, systems and equipment that will be utilised to de fuel Swiftsure and Trafalgar class within the Submarine Refitting Complex.
Your duties will involve:. 
Commissioning of a newly supplied and modified nuclear facilities, plant, systems and equipment that will be utilised to de fuel Swiftsure and Trafalgar class within the Submarine Refitting Complex.
Commission a highly integrity goliath crane. 
A requirement to work at height and undergo harness training in support of this requirement.
Work in a radiologically plus 8505y controlled areas so applicants must be radiologically trained or prepared to undergo this training.
Commissioning Engineers will be responsible to safely inspect, test, calibrate and commission plant, systems and equipment in accordance with authorised documentation, carrying out fault diagnosis and proposing corrective solutions on a wide variety of electro-mechanical plant
Travel and alignment system
M&E Building services including HVAC
Process Plant

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer
You will have experience of; Variable Speed Drives and Programmable Logic Controllers 
You will be able to work at height.
Ideally you will have experience of CRANES.
