The Role:
Our client at Devonport is looking to recruit an Electrical Designer to work on a contract basis initially for 6 months.
You will assist in the preparation of design estimates and schedules & Technical Reviews in support of tender responses requiring design input. 
You will be responsible in the technical aspects of selecting sub-contractors and/or suppliers. 
Liaising with Project to resolve Project issues and liaise with Production to resolve manufacturing problems. 
You will provide professional engineering support to surface ship, submarine, commercial and equipment projects as directed by Supervisor. 

The Candidate:
You will be an Electrical Designer with 5years experience in using Autocad. 
Ship building, submarines & marine experience would be extremely advantageous!
You will be able to perform system requirements for capture, concept design and modelling. 
You must have the ability to interpret a design requirement into an achievable design solution.

Note: Due to the nature of the projects undertaken these positions are ITAR restricted to UK nationals only. We are unable to consider applications from dual nationals.
