Electrical Designer: 6mths Contract – Rate £Neg - Plymouth

The Role:
Electrical Designer required to join a team providing professional engineering support to surface ship, submarine, commercial and naval equipment projects. 

Duties:
You will be responsible for undertaking and providing design support to the Electrical team. 
Providing design support in appropriate Engineering Discipline
Preparing and checking design documentation as required.
Supporting preparation of documents for Design Reviews.
Assisting in the preparation of design estimates and schedules.
Assisting in the preparation of Technical Reviews in support of tender responses requiring design input.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical Designer/CAD Technician with marine or shipbuilding experience.  
You will have the ability to perform system requirements capture, concept design and modelling.
Should have the ability to interpret a design requirement into an achievable design solution.
 
You will be qualified to ONC level. 

NB. Due to the nature of the work (Security Clearance) this role is open to UK Nationals only
