The Role:
Our client Babcock / MOD are looking to recruit an Electrical Designer / Engineer (Checker)
To work within the Launch Control System Team within Team WHLS.
Your duties will include:
To undertake and check the conversion of legacy ME10 electrical drawings to dxf then to AutoCAD, incorporate drawing modifications from red-line mark-ups and also check drawing conversions.
The production of electrical CAD drawings in Autocad 2014.
Production and update of single line, schematic and wiring diagrams.
Taking mark-ups from engineers.
Creation of electrical wiring schematics and panel / wiring drawings, control panel general arrangements and layouts, block diagrams and cable schedules.
Modify drawings, assemblies and general arrangements as required. 　

The Candidate:
You will be a British national with Security Clearance (or able to obtain it).
You will be qualified to ideally HND level and have at least 5 years experience within an electrical design environment.
You must have experience of Autocad, checking drawings and converting files.
Previous experience of Teamcentre & Windream would be advantageous.
