The Role/Duties:

Wilde Recruitment are delighted to be working with a company with a 40 year British heritage with the strongest engineering team in the industry. They are committed to delivering market-leading products and now we are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to work on a permanent basis in East Manchester.
Your duties will involve; 
Undertake the conceptual development of the electrical control and drive systems.
Produce electrical schematic diagrams, equipment layouts, BOM and cables schedules using SolidWork Electrical. Ensure the produced technical documentation complies with national (IEC/EN204-1) and, where appropriate, international standards (UL-508A, etc).
Manage design & development within the budget.
Specify all related to electrical design components within the project.
Liaise and communicate with Sub Contractors or Suppliers.
Attend project and progress reviews.
Undertake design calculations and appropriate engineering checks to ensure fit for purpose design.
Procure Purchase Requisitions specifying, in appropriate detail, parts and material requirements.
Assist the Production Department and give any advice, technical support, information or guidance required to produce work for production.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical Design Engineer
Ideally qualified to HNC / HND / Degree level.
You will have experience of Electrical CAD Solidworks.
You will have experience of 'Motion Control', Fieldbus, Safety Systems, PLC's, HMI's etc.
