ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER - HOME WORKING - 12months - Rate c£30-£45/hr Umb

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working alongside Babcock Naval Marine in order to recruit an ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER working from home initially for 12 months. This role does fall inside scope, so an Umbrella company will have to be used.
In order to deliver the MoD’s submarine and warship programmes, a significant programme of infrastructure investment will be required on the Devonport site. A new ‘Major Infrastructure Projects’ (MIP) Business Unit is being established to support this.
Your duties will include:
Reviewing and understanding component and sub-system supportability analysis.
Providing professional engineering support to surface ship, submarine, commercial and equipment projects.
Preparation of Project and Department Plans and Tracking and Forecasting, Assistance in Preparation of Bids in related subjects.
Liaising with Project to resolve Project issues.
Liaising with Production to resolve manufacturing problems.
Identifying, understanding, and managing technical supportability risks
Facilitating key stakeholders to see technical risks and issues through to resolution
Compiling technical reports.
You will be an experienced ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER.
You will be ideally SC Cleared / Security Cleared.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
You will have experience within the Maritime / Naval sector.
You are qualified to at least HNC / HND / Degree level.
