Environmental Consultant - London - Contract - £400/£600 per day

The Role:
Our client, CH2MUSA, is looking to recruit an experienced Environmental Consultant to work on a prestigious long term contract in London for apx 18months. (Lower Thames Crossing)

Your duties may include:
Identifying all key interfaces, issues and actions plans for resolution.
Responsible for the development of Statement of Common Ground, Asset Protection Agreement with the Environment Agency.
Responsible for drafting the DCO Requirements and Protective Provisions and reaching agreement of them with the Environment Agency.
Advises senior leadership of risk and reputational issues relating to the interface with EA and strategies for mitigating risk.
Knowledge and experience of working with the Environmental Permitting Regulations and other relevant legislation. 
A proven track record of developing and delivering stakeholder strategies.
Experience of working effectively between local, regional and national stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of successfully working in/adapting the philosophy of a ‘One Team’ environment within an NEC contract context.
Demonstrable experience of working in a major infrastructure project.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Environmental Consultant.
You will have at least 5-10+ years experience.
You will be  Educated to degree standard with a relevant second degree and membership of an appropriate professional body or equivalent work history.
You should have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
