Environmental Engineer, Cheshire WA16, 12months+, Rate c£30-£50/hr Ltd Co (OUTSIDE SCOPE)

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side a client in Cheshire WA16 to recruit an Environmental Engineer to work on a long term position.
As an Environmental Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Ensure that environmental services delivered to clients and internal project teams are of a high
standard and in accordance with the Business Management System. Activities include:
Providing guidance on regulatory requirements.
Preparation of technical reports, calculations and environmental assessments.
Preparation of planning applications.
Environmental permit applications and variations.
Working within agreed timescales and budgets so that the needs of the client are fully met
together with the business needs of the company.
Support the preparation of proposal and manhour estimates for consultancy services.
Maintain knowledge and professional competence in environmental field.
Support development of in-house environmental guidance, providing coaching and
development of other members of staff.
Demonstrate flexibility and customer focus and perform any other tasks within the overall
scope of environmental consultancy, which may be reasonable required to ensure the
efficient operation of the company.

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience
Degree in engineering and working towards chartered status.
Interest in developing in environmental field.
Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary project team.
Experience of working with environmental regulations for/on an industrial site.
Experience of producing environmental assessments and reports.
Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form with good interpersonal skills.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
