Estates Surveyor - Andover - 6 months+ - £320/£420/day UMBRELLA - Contract

The Role:
Our client, the MOD, require an Estates Surveyor to work on an initial contract for 6 months based at Andover.
MOD is significantly reducing its estate and the purpose of this role is to bring forward a wide variety of different MOD sites for disposal to obtain best sale values for the public purse.

Your duties may include:
An understanding of commercial and residential development markets as sites will vary from complex residential development sites for several thousand homes to single listed buildings to brownfield sites in countryside locations.
Required to lead on obtaining the best receipts from land releases, working with specialist DIO Colleagues, MOD contractors, private sector consultants and other stakeholders including the current users of the sites.
Work will include areas such as deciding on boundaries, dealing with third party users, investigating re-development opportunities, obtaining planning consents, marketing and contract negotiations.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Estates Surveyor
You will be qualified to Degree level ideally.
ideally you will be a member of RICS.
You will have between 5-10 years experience.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
You should have good people skills.

As per the amended intermediaries’ legislation (IR35); this assignment is deemed to be a Public Sector off Payroll Assignment inside IR35 for Tax and NI
This assignment therefore can only be offered via; a tax compliant Umbrella Company or on a PAYE basis
