Estates Surveyor - 5mth Contract - Yorkshire - c£247.20/day (Umbrella)

As the Estate Surveyor you are required to:
Provide specialist guidance to operational teams in order to influence compliance with relevant policy/legislation/best practice ways of working and contribute to the delivery of business plans.
Keep up to date on changing legislation/best practice externally, to make recommendations for internal prioritisation and appropriate implementation in the business.
Support development of policies/process locally and monitor and advise on effective implementation in the business, in line with targets.
Participate in projects, providing functional/specialist input to improve ways of working and business change & efficiency.
Build and sustain effective relationships with operational customers to understand issues and provide effective response/steer for operational needs.
Mentor and coach others on policies, procedures, practices and techniques equipping them with the knowledge and skills to deliver their work in an effective and efficient manner.
You will be an experienced Estates/Building Surveyor with a background of working with a professional property team.
You will have the experience and ability to work with autonomy and take accountability for advice and decision making.
Membership of RICS.
You will have knowledge in the following areas:
Delivering value for money, achieving commercial outcomes, collaboration & partnering.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong level of capability in achieving results, effective communication and customer focus with colleagues, policy colleagues, and stakeholders.
Degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline.
