An Estates Surveyor required for the Environment Agency to support the delivery of flood risk management projects including acquisition of interests, negotiation of access, and settlement of compensation claims. The Estates service provides professional advice for the Environment Agency on property activities. You will provide Valuation and Estates Management for a diverse property portfolio and advice on land and compensation matters.
You will be an Estates Surveyor with detailed knowledge and experience of compensation and acquisition.
Membership of RICS is desirable.
You should have experience managing diverse land/property portfolio (including property management, valuation and landlord/tenant issues).
You must have an understanding of planning, property and compensation legislation.
You will have knowledge of associated legislation across the agricultural, residential, industrial and commercial sectors.
A driving licence is essential to this role.
