Defence Estates Surveyor – Rural Practice: 6 Months+ Contract; Liss, Hampshire; Rate: c£300/day (Umbrella)

The Role:
The MoD’s Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) requires a Rural Practice Estate Surveyor (Land Agent) based at Longmoor Camp (Liss, Hampshire – approx. 20 miles north of Portsmouth).
Primary duties will be provision of professional estate surveying / land management casework and professional advice to the MoD customer and other stakeholders.

Duties will involve:
Primarily succession cases, rent reviews, minor disposals, undertaking schedule of condition and advising on tenants repairing liabilities.
In addition, completing low value contracted out leases, new FBTs, easements/wayleaves, telecommunication mast negotiations and other commercial opportunities when identified.

The Candidate: 
You MUST have current SC (Security Check) clearance. Applications without SC will not be considered and immediately rejected.
You will possess full membership of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or a relevant land management degree, with minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
